Danielle Harris is the main character in the Halloween series, and has starred in four different movies in two different timelines. He made his co-starring debut in the 1988 film Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers. Jamie Lee Curtis is not yet ready to return to the series for the fourth film, a new cast is needed, enter a nod to Harris To do the field as Jamie Lloyd, who was Small but steady. Harris then reprized the role in 1989’s Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers .
Rob Zombie was one of those who appreciated Harris’ role on the show and brought her back for a new role in the 2007 reboot. Harris had the opportunity to direct her fourth film about Halloween in 2009 with her return as Annie in Halloween II, a character played by Nancy Case.
Harris recently took some time to reflect on his time in the franchise, which celebrated the 15th anniversary of the zombie reboot. She posted a message on Instagram with a behind-the-scenes photo, commenting on how the video helped her realize her place in life was in the horror genre. He went on to tease another “final showdown” between Jimmy Lloyd and Michael Myers, explaining that it would be the setting for the next inevitable rematch.
“15 years ago this weekend my career changed the rest of my lives path. I was stuck in a career that was struggling not knowing who I was supposed to be when it had been chosen for me 35 years ago…I just was too young to understand it. Thank you (Rob Zombie and Malek Akkad) for making that happen. I’m forever grateful to all my fans for welcoming me back into the ‘Halloween’ franchise with so much love and support. I LOVE the horror community and the forever friends I’ve been making along the way! Now we just need to bring ‘Jamie’ back for a final showdown with the Boogeyman…”
Jamie Lloyd’s Mom Will Have Her Own Final Showdown With Michael Myers
Meanwhile, Jamie’s mother is preparing for her final showdown with Michael Myers, albeit at a different time. Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode in Halloween Ends to help end a four-decade feud between the two.
Regardless of how that ends, this is the last we see of Curtis in a Halloween movie. Given the continued popularity of the series, there is no doubt that the franchise will continue and Michael Myers will return for another reboot. As Daniel Harris suggests, an interesting approach is to create another Legacy sequel that takes us back to the timeline of Halloween 4 and 5, giving us man Jamie Lloyd who goes to fight the Boogeyman.
Halloween Ends will hit theaters and Peacock on Oct. 14, 2022.
